FetchyFox’s AI driven Digital Marketplace enhances the traveler experience AND gives airport operators an unprecedented 360 degree view of post-COVID passenger behavior. This cutting-edge AI technology enables data driven decisions, identifies operational pressure points, and spots emerging behaviors. In short, it provides airport operators the information needed to create an effective commercial strategy that maximizes traveler satisfaction, grows revenues, and assures efficient operations – for both the airport and its business partners (something that is increasingly important given the labor shortage).
“Joe Waller’s vision for the future travel experience is perfectly aligned with FetchyFox’s and we are eager to evolve the digital infrastructure for airports and public spaces together,” Christina Apatow, CEO of FetchyFox.
“It is an honor to join the FetchyFox team. Their passion for making travel better is matched by their amazing intellect and innovative drive.” said Joe Waller.
As the Chief Executive Officer at AMI Inflight & AMI Wines, Mr. Waller led a global team with operations in North America, Europe and the Middle East that sold products to more than 40 airlines. When the coronavirus pandemic shut down travel, he pivoted the company and created a new revenue stream by selling food and services to state governments and charitable organizations fighting hunger.
Prior to joining AMI, Mr. Waller was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Gateway Concessions, LLC. In this role, he led the company through an inventive rebranding and created a marketing campaign that resulted in exponential growth and ultimately the successful sale to a competitor.
Mr.Waller also previously served as the Senior Vice President at Westfield where he led operations that generated retail and restaurant sales of more than $800M annually across an 8-airport portfolio.
As the Vice President of Business Development at HMSHost, Mr. Waller led the team that developed B4 You Board, one of the first mobile apps for the ordering and delivery of food. In 2012 the National Restaurant Association named B4 You Board one of the 3 most significant technological innovations in the restaurant industry and USA Today named it one of the 5 “Must Have” apps for travelers.
